Maxitool Mining is a specialist maintenance and mill relining service provider for clients within the mining and resources industries across Australia.
Maxitool are currently seeking experienced candidates to supplement our embedded shutdown team to assist our client in improving their current outage structure. We are currently seeking quality candidates from within the Cairns region and surrounding areas who align with our values of Integrity, Leadership, Innovation and Passion to help fulfil our Mission and Vision and also be a part of our client’s success.
What you will be doing:
In this 7/7 roster role, you will be with alongside Rio Tinto employees on site to assist with schedule fixed plant outages and maintenance at a Bauxite Mine site in Weipa. The position is a FIFO position only.

• Bring relevant experience from a similar role in a mining environment.
• Show dedication to achieving shared goals and objectives.
• Maintain high ethical standards and integrity in all aspects of your work.
• Take pride in consistently delivering exceptional work and surpassing expectations
• Prior experience with SAP and experience in all Microsoft programs.
• Willingness to grow and adapt within a new team.
