Position Vacant – FIFO Laboratory Technician

Location FIFO ex Cairns and Brisbane only
Start Date Immediate Start

Maxiforce is currently looking for a FIFO Laboratory Technician to work with our client, starting immediately.

  • Alternating Days and Nights 
  • Ongoing Roster 
  • Weekly pay + Super on All hours 

The Project:

15/13 roster. Helping the Mine with Sample preparation and analysis, Operating relevant testing equipment, Data collection, General laboratory duties while maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

What you need:

  • Minimum Cert III in Laboratory Skills or (other relevant qualifications) 
  • 2= years’ experience in mining in the same or similar role.  
  • Radiation Safety Licence (desirable but not essential) 
  • Current C Class driving licence 
  • First Aid certification (desirable but not essential) 
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)  
  • Understanding of QA/QC processes. 
  • Ability to Pass a Medical and Drug & Alcohol Test 
  • Pass our screening process through past employer recommendations.
