Mining Maintenance Coordinator – Permanent Full Time Position

Maxitool Mining is based in North Queensland and is a division of the Maxitool Group which was founded in 2007 to provide quality products and services to the mining and energy industries throughout Australia and abroad. Our reputation has been built on the successful delivery of projects that require mobilisation of skilled workforces and specialty plant to remote and often challenging locations.

Maxitool Mining provides diverse specialist services including mechanical maintenance, large scale scheduled outages, mill relines and specialised labour hire.

The Position 

Due to sustained growth we require the services of suitably experienced Maintenance Coordinator to coordinate and lead the maintenance team for Site Maintenance Projects and Shutdown Work across various sites.

We’re seeking individuals with a proven record in similar roles and significant process plant maintenance experience, who will uphold our company values of integrity, innovation, passion and leadership and align with our strategy of ‘Certainty in Safety; Certainty in Quality and Certainty in Value’.

Experience / Skills Required

To be considered for these roles you will reside in or around Cairns, Far North Queensland region and possess:

Experience

  • A sound mine services background
  • Experience in previous supervision and leadership roles

Qualifications

  • Trade Certified background
  • Certificate in Supervision and Leadership, or relevant experience

  • Able to prepare and present tenders and quotes in a timely manner
